We received an early morning phone call from the Post Office telling us that our box-o-birds had arrived.  I ran right uptown to get them.  I thought it would be fun to shoot a little un-boxing movie, so here it is...

These 25 Corninsh Rock chickens are slated to be "table birds" (thanks you, Amey Lobdell Maffucci for schooling me on that lovely term).  For the next 8 weeks, however, they're bound to be the center of attention around here.
